n.a.i lens buddy (“the App”) is designed to help children safely explore and learn about the world around them through supervised use.

We are committed to protecting the privacy of children and families. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes, how it is used, and how parents or guardians can contact us.

Information We Process

When a user takes or selects a photo in the App, the image may be securely sent to OpenAI in order to identify and describe the object shown in the image.

The App is intended only for identifying objects, plants, animals, and educational items. Parents and guardians should supervise use of the App and ensure children do not photograph:

- Faces or people

- Private information

- Identification documents

- Sensitive or personal items

- Addresses, phone numbers, or other personal details

Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

We do not intentionally collect:

- Child names

- Addresses

- Phone numbers

- Precise location data

- Contacts

- Personal profiles

- Social media information

The App does not include:

- Third-party advertising

- Behavioral advertising

- Public social sharing

- Public chat features

Third-Party Services

The App uses OpenAI services to process images and generate educational responses. Images submitted through the App are used only to provide the requested identification and educational response.

Apple Services

If a user purchases a subscription, billing and subscription management are handled directly by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store payment card information.

Children’s Privacy

n.a.i lens buddy is designed for supervised family use. Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring a child’s use of the App.

If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to review and address the request.

Data Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information processed through the App. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be fully secure.

Data Retention

The App does not create user accounts or intentionally store personal profiles. Images are processed for the purpose of generating an object identification response.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will appear on this page with a revised effective date.

Terms of Use

By downloading or using n.a.i lens buddy (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Use.

Supervised Use

The App is designed for use by children with parent or guardian supervision. Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring use of the App.

Educational Purpose

The App is intended for educational and entertainment purposes only. Object identifications and descriptions generated by AI may occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for certain decisions.

The App should not be relied upon for:

- Medical advice

- Safety decisions

- Professional identification

- Emergency situations

- Legal, financial, or professional advice

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

- Upload harmful or illegal content

- Capture images of private or sensitive information

- Photograph people without permission

- Attempt to misuse, reverse engineer, disrupt, or interfere with the App

- Use the App in a way that violates applicable laws or regulations

Subscriptions

Some App features may require an auto-renewable subscription purchased through Apple’s App Store.

Subscription details, including the subscription title, duration, price, free trial availability, and renewal terms, are shown in the App before purchase and in Apple’s purchase confirmation sheet.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Payment is charged to the user’s Apple Account. Users can manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple Account Settings.

Any free trial, if offered, will convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial period ends.

Payment processing and subscription management are handled by Apple.

Intellectual Property

All App content, branding, design, and software are owned by n.a.i lens buddy or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, n.a.i lens buddy shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the App.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
